New grass establishing in rows across a freshly seeded site in Northeast Ohio

A full lawn, grown from bare dirt.

Hydroseeding for new lawns, construction restoration, erosion control, and large acreage across Medina County and Northeast Ohio — prepped, graded, and seeded by one crew.

Hydroseeding

Seed the acre. Skip the sod bill.

Hydroseeding sprays a mixed slurry of premium seed, mulch, fertilizer, and tackifier across prepared soil — even coverage on any shape or slope, at a fraction of sod's cost. On new construction, cleared land, and large lawns, it's the smart math: the grass roots directly into your soil, so what grows in is a lawn, not a transplant.

What makes our hydroseeding different is what happens before the spray. Because Pristine self-performs grading and soil preparation, the ground gets shaped, amended, and finish-graded by the same crew that seeds it. Most hydroseed failures are actually prep failures — thin soil, bad grade, standing water. We control the whole sequence.

Prime windows in Northeast Ohio are late August through mid-October and April–May — warm soil, cool air, natural rain. If you're reading this in season, you're reading it at the right time.

Hydroseeding FAQs

Straight answers before you call.

Hydroseeding sprays a slurry of seed, mulch, fertilizer, and tackifier evenly across prepared soil. It costs a fraction of sod, covers large or irregular areas easily, and the grass roots directly in your soil instead of a transplanted layer. Sod gives instant green; hydroseed gives a stronger lawn a few weeks later for a lot less money — on big areas it's not close.

Late August through mid-October is the sweet spot — warm soil, cooler air, and fall rain give fast germination with almost no weed pressure. Spring (April–May) is the second window. We hydroseed through both.

Germination typically starts in 5–10 days, the first mow comes around 3–4 weeks, and the lawn fills to full coverage over the following weeks. The critical factor is consistent watering in the first two to three weeks — we'll give you a simple schedule.

Yes, and it's most of the outcome. Because we self-perform grading, we handle the whole sequence: rough grade, soil amendment, finish grade, then hydroseed — one crew from bare dirt to growing lawn. That's especially valuable after construction, pool installs, or land clearing.
